AFRICAN RELIGIOUS BODY COMMENDS APOSTLE SAFO

September 18, 2017
African Religious body

Founder and Chief Officer (CEO) of the Kantanka Group of Companies, Apostle Dr Kwadwo Safo, has expressed disappointment in successive governments for failing to extend a hand support for his technological innovations. He said even though governments had over the years publicly pledged their support and desire to promote the products of the company, those pledges had not been translated into action. "The country has got what it takes to be sufficient and independent without resting on the shoulder of foreign neighbours to develop," he said.

He made the remarks when delegates from the Ecclesiastical Bishops and Leaders Conference for Africa (EBLCA) paid a visit to the Kantanka Group of Companies at Gomoa Mpota in the Central Region last Wednesday.

EBLCA is a non-denominational and non-discriminatory conference of ministries of the Gospel and church leaders with a common faith and belief to build a fortified ecclesiastical front for Africa.

Dr. Safo is known for his contribution to technological innovations.

DETERMINED TO SUCCEED

Apostle Safo said, "people tell us that we are wasting our time because we wont get anywhere, but we pay no attention to them. We rather make sure that we prove them wrong by meeting the targets that we set for ourselves."

"The whites believed in themselves and got to where they are now. They are not different from us." he added.

The General Secretary of Kantanka Group of Companies, Mr Owusu Badu, said one major challenge that confronted Great Kosa Automobile company Limited was lack of patronage and promotion of its locally manufactured vehicles.

He said in some countries, the governments provided support to the growth of their automobile industries. But Ghana, he said, "we've spoken a lot but no avail, they always give promises but nothing is done."

"We await the Ghana Standard Board (GSB) and the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) to give us permit with serial numbers and other processing documents to sell our products on the market," he added.

OTHER PERSPECTIVE

The Presiding Prelate of EBCLA, Bishop Dr James Obeng Nyantakyi , said it was the intention of church to honour him with a Humanitarian award in the upcoming global excellence award in African Mission for his frantic efforts towards the growth of Africa.

He said the church would link up with him by bringing individuals and students from East Africa and elsewhere to have first-hand information on practical work aside the theoretical aspect.

Professor Tony Karbo, the Vice Chancellor of the Kayiwa International University in Kenya, expressed worry about the inability of the successive governments to support Great Kosa Automobile Company Limited.

He said in some countries, projects such as that of Dr Apostle Safo attracted financial assisstance from their governments in order to boost the automobile industry and economy.

For his part, the Vice Presiding Prelate of East Africa EBLCA, Bishop Dr Simeon Oyugi, said, *if Africa has people like Apostle Safo, Africa will move forward.

KRISTO ASAFO MISSION OF GHANA CELEBRATES 45TH BIRTHDAY

September 18, 2017
A JOURNEY TO FREEDOM-3RD FEBRUARY IN RETROSPECTIVE
"*INTRODUCTION"*

The long wait is over, a date that will never walk away in the lives of Kristo Asafo members without leaving some 'memorable memories', some not very pleasing but most importantly the very reason we are all sheltered under the bigger umbrella rock of Apostle Dr. Ing. Kwadwo Safo, the true Living God and the spiritual master for most of us.

"*HISTORY*"

There is one saying which goes like, there is no smoke without a fire; in same vein that the journey towards the establishment of this noble church did not rise out of the blues, there was a beginning. History is always there to sharpen the thoughts of the current generation and possibly guide them towards their future and how to a positive impart towards their aspirations. The story towards the birth of the church and its nurturing stage was a challenging one. Kwadwo Donkor was born to poor Opanin Yaw Safo and Madam Akosua Amoanimaa in the Ashante Bekwai district in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. There were so many circumstances surrounding his birth and growing up in general. Life was not fair to him... He therefore left Kumasi to seek for a better life in Accra, the capital city of Ghana.

Feb. 3rd

In Accra, he encountered so many hardships, to the extent of walking hundreds of miles just to perch a friend and on so many occasions thrown out for reasons including theft, body shape and shameful accusations, among others. The most painful aspect, how he fed himself from left overs from chop bars, turning himself to a porter, picking up foods from the floor, and other disgusting stories you would never associate with this Great Man. He faced so many challenges that he almost gave in at a point in time and decided to leave this hardship and go home to his maker, indeed he was fired up by the mysteries of life and that was his only option perhaps.

"*THE TRANSITION*"

I do not intend to bore you with all long talks about the Genesis of the church, however, it is only prudent we reflect on our past to better appreciate what future holds for us. In the early days of the establishment of the church yet again series of challenges befell him, explaining reasons why the church reincarnated from four different deaths. Amidst all these challenges he was optimistic about the future, most importantly he said times without number that he was going to succeed and have in his processions fleet of cars that could be lined up to a certain distance. YES he did say that, and it is now obvious that his cars will outdistance his initial speculation and this is attributable to 'hard work'.

"* WHY FEBRUARY 3RD*"

It is in the light of the above that the founder deserves some thumbs up for his struggle to our freedom, it is the vein that the lives of other members were taken so that we the living would observe this day and pay reverence to this day and give it the needed recognition and thank God for our lives and most importantly bless HIS HOLINESs, APOSTLE DR. ING. KWADWO SAFO.

Feb.3rd

"*THE WAY FORWARD*"

And I put on record that, believe it or not, the African giant is up, He's woken from his stone dead sleep and ready for the fight for supremacy. He remains the citadel of hope to the black star and ever sparkling in thickest of clouds.

"*CAUTION*"

The late Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela once said, "There is no easy walk to freedom anywhere, and many of us will have to pass through the valley of the shadow of death again and again before we reach the mountain top of our desires.". "Indeed Apostle Safo has come a long way he's been through it all, I therefore plead we observe this day with the accorded respect and live peacefully and harmoniously with ourselves.

GOD BLESS 3RD FEBRUARY, GOD BLESS APOSTLE SAFO, GOD BLESS KRISTO ASAFO, GOD BLESS GHANA AND GOD BLESS THE ENTIRE AFRICAN RACE
