CHARGES
In an interview with the Daily Graphic, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of OKS Medical Consult, Dr Kwabena Safo, said participants was encouraging.
According to him, the collaboration between OKS Medical Consult and the Sole Health and Wellness Centre was meant to provide quality health screening to the residents at subsidised cost.
"We are doing this so that a lot of people can get screened. We realised that the actual cost that they are supposed to bear when they visit the health centres is way beyond them so we have to reduce that to very low rates," he said.
Dr Safo said the main purpose of the exercise was to screen, detect cases and if possible refer patients to the appropriate health centres, adding that a lot of people usually found it difficult to go for health screening on their own.
He expressed the hope that by next year a lot of sponsors would brought on board in order to make the entire exercise free.
He admonished Ghanaians to take precautionary measures and go for periodic health screening in order to detect diseases which might be hidden in their bodies for early treatment.

Earlier in the morning, the CEO of Sole Health and Wellness Centre, Oheneba Ntim Barimah, also held a keep fit exercise with some residents on the Great ASASS Park.
