#TheApostleSafoStory: Aftermath Of Apostle Safo’s Mother’s Death Will Make You Cry

When he was finding life unbearable, news came to him that his mother had died at “Kensere” in the Ashanti region of Ghana.

At the time, all friends and those he knew ignored him because of his abject poverty during the propagation of the Word of God.

He had no money then to attend his mothers funeral so went to the Accra Railway Station to carry some goods before getting money to travel to “Kensere” where his mother had died.

The saddest after struggle to reach the burial ceremony in time proved no avail. When he reached, his mother Obaapayin Amoanimaa had already been buried.

The poor nature of his appearance then surprised everybody because of poverty. After a slight welcome from family and as custom demands, Apostle Dr. Kwadwo Safo was asked for items and money to help in the burring of his late mother.

Unable to pay for the coffin and drinks for those who helped in the burial including other items annoyed his sisters  and other family members to heap insult on him using all kinds abusive words like “Kwadwo fool”, “Kwadwo sheep” and others.

To get money back to Accra, Apostle Safo became a farm hand which got him some money to Kumasi, then there he had to beg for arms before getting back to Accra.
